1. Scope of the General Terms and Conditions
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) form the basis of the contractual relationship between Daher Translation and its clients (the "Clients") for the purchase of services, excluding any other conditions the Client may seek to impose or incorporate, or which may be implied by trade, custom, or practice.
1.2 The GTC apply, without limitation or reservation, to the services provided by Daher Translation as defined in each order (the "Order"), as of the start date, and in particular to sworn and non-sworn translations, interpreting, legalization, certification, and related services.
1.3 All descriptions, quotes, materials, or advertisements issued by Daher Translation are for illustrative purposes only and have no contractual value.
1.4 Approval of any quote by the Client constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.
1.5 Daher Translation reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time.
2. Orders
2.1 The Client may submit a service request via our website, by email, or by phone.
2.2 The request must include all necessary information: nature of the document, number of pages, source and target languages, desired deadline, required certification, etc.
2.3 On this basis, Daher Translation will issue an electronic quote ("Quote").
2.4 Acceptance of the Quote by the Client, confirmed in writing (email or electronic signature), constitutes a binding contract.
2.5 No service will begin without the express confirmation of the Quote.
Modification or Cancellation
2.6 Any modification of an Order must be submitted in writing and will result in a new Quote.
2.7.1 In case of cancellation by the Client after acceptance of the Quote, Daher Translation undertakes to reimburse 40% of the amount paid, unless substantial work has already begun.
2.7.2 The Client will only be required to pay for the portion actually translated, and Daher Translation will refund the difference corresponding to the uncompleted portion.
If a 30% deposit has been paid for a project over USD 250:
- a) If Daher Translation has translated more than 30% of the project (e.g., 50%), the Client must pay the remaining difference (20% in this example).
- b) If Daher Translation has translated less than 30% of the project (e.g., 10%), Daher Translation undertakes to reimburse the Client for the difference (20% in this example).
2.8 In case of an error attributable to Daher Translation, the company undertakes to redo the work, if the Client so requests.
2.9 Daher Translation remains open to deferred or flexible payment arrangements, agreed on a case-by-case basis.
2.10.1 For projects equal to or above USD 250, the Client must pay a 30% deposit of the total amount upon confirmation of the Order. The balance is payable upon delivery of the final project.
2.10.2 For projects under USD 250, full payment must be made upfront at the time of the Order, before services begin.
2.11 In case of payment difficulties related to local restrictions or blocked funds in the Client’s country, the Client agrees to contact Daher Translation to agree on an alternative payment method.
3. Deliverables
3.1 The delivery time indicated in the Quote is an estimate. Daher Translation makes every effort to meet it.
3.2 Deadlines may be adjusted in case of force majeure, illegible documents, or late modification requests by the Client.
3.3 The Client has 10 days after delivery to report any non-conformity. After this period, the translation is deemed accepted.
4. Rates

4.2 Payment may be made in other currencies, depending on the Client’s chosen payment method.
4.3 Rates vary depending on the language, complexity, volume, and deadline.
5. Payment and Invoicing
5.1 Payments may be made by: Credit card (Visa, MasterCard), PayPal, Western Union, Cryptocurrencies (USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, BNB, XRP), or bank transfer (on request).
5.2 Unless otherwise agreed, payment must be made within 40 days of invoice issuance.
5.3 In case of late payment, Daher Translation reserves the right to suspend any ongoing services until settlement.
6. Commitments of Daher Translation
6.1 Daher Translation is bound by an obligation of means and not of result.
6.2 Original documents provided by the Client will be translated faithfully, without correcting the content or errors present in the original, unless specifically requested by the Client.
6.3 Daher Translation guarantees absolute confidentiality of submitted documents.
7. Liability
7.1 Daher Translation shall not be held liable for: indirect losses (profits, contracts, opportunities), errors contained in the source document, or damages caused by delays due to force majeure.
